Hip-hop heavyweights Jadakiss and 50 Cent may soon collaborate to bring Kiss Café, Jada’s popular coffee brand, to its very first brick-and-mortar location. The buzz began when 50 Cent took to Instagram on Monday (December 2), sharing the Kiss Café logo and fueling speculation about the venture.
“It’s a go @jadakiss SHREVEPORT is ready let’s get it,” the “In Da Club” rapper captioned the post, signaling his interest in setting up shop in Shreveport, Louisiana—where he has recently established his G-Unit Film & TV Studios.
Jadakiss, however, playfully nudged back in the comments, suggesting plans aren’t entirely finalized yet: “@50cent i’m waiting on YOU.” While Kiss Café’s coffee and merchandise are currently available online and in select stores, Jadakiss’ father and co-founder, Bob Phillips, has expressed aspirations for a physical location in the near future.
The timing and location seem ideal, given 50 Cent’s major investments in Shreveport. As the multi-faceted mogul continues to build his entertainment empire, incorporating a coffee shop from Jadakiss… a peer and former rap rival adds a flavorful twist to the mix.
