Rap artist Ja Rule has sparked excitement among fans by hinting at the release of a new album, marking a significant return after more than a decade.
To kick off the new year, the former Murder Inc. hitmaker took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Tuesday, January 2, to announce that he is currently in “album mode.”
Ja Rule’s last album, Pain Is Love 2, was released in 2012 and reached No. 197 on the Billboard 200 chart, boasting just over 3,000 first-week sales.
“In full Album mode… #CWWTST,” he wrote, possibly alluding to an abbreviation for the upcoming album’s title.
This hashtag, #CWWTST, was previously used by Rule in October, accompanied by the statement, “I’m cooking up a CLASSIC…. #CWWTST [wave emoji].”
As anticipation builds for Ja Rule’s long-awaited album, fans are eagerly anticipating what this seasoned artist has in store.
