In a remarkable week of tracking from April 5 to April 11, the album amassed an impressive 115,000 equivalent album units, according to insights from Luminate.
Streaming played a pivotal role in the album’s success, accounting for a substantial 105,000 units.
Traditional album sales contributed 9,000 units, while track sales added a further 1,000 units to the tally. Notably, “7 Minute Drill” emerged as the standout track, dominating both streaming platforms and sales charts.
“Might Delete Later” adds another milestone to J. Cole’s illustrious career, marking his seventh chart-topping album on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
This achievement places him among an elite group of artists with multiple No. 1 albums, alongside previous hits like “Cole World: The Sideline Story” (2011), “Born Sinner” (2013), and “2014 Forest Hills Drive” (2014). J. Cole continues to cement his status as a dominant force in the R&B/Hip-Hop genre with this latest triumph.
