J. Cole, the head honcho of Dreamville, is known for his talent and unique approach to music. Recently, he surprised an aspiring rapper by showing up at a New York City housing project to listen to his music. The aspiring rapper, Ty Trilly, took to Instagram to share his excitement about the visit, posting a video of Cole nodding along to his verse in a packed-out lobby.
In the video, Cole can be heard giving Trilly advice and encouragement, saying, “Shoot the shit, put that b*tch out next! ‘Cause they gon’ feel it. And they gon’ feel the next one, I swear to God.” Cole’s visit to the projects highlights his understanding of the importance of connecting with people and supporting aspiring artists.
On the music front, Cole has been keeping busy. He recently released “On the Street (with J. Cole),” and Dreamville took on executive producer duties for the Creed III soundtrack. Fans are eagerly anticipating his upcoming project, as he began 2023 by removing all of his pictures from Instagram, leading many to believe that new music is on the way.
In 2019, Cole revealed plans for an album run, including The Off-Season, It’s A Boy, and The Fall Off, so it’s safe to say that there’s much more to come from this talented artist. Keep an eye out for more updates and surprises from J. Cole.
