In a heartbreaking and unexpected revelation, Chris Gotti has opened up about his late brother Irv Gotti’s secret health battle that led to a partial foot amputation… a struggle he kept hidden from the public eye.
According to Chris, Irv had developed a persistent wound on his toe that wouldn’t stop bleeding. Despite the severity, he refused to seek medical attention. “He didn’t want to go to the doctor,” Chris shared in a recent interview with Math Hoffa.
Things took a turn when Irv showed up at Chris’s house after taking an Uber. “The moment he walked in, I smelled something awful,” Chris recalled. “I asked him, ‘What is that?’ and Irv just laughed and said, ‘It’s my foot.’ He told me even the Uber driver mentioned the smell.”
Chris said his brother finally took off his shoe… revealing a disturbing sight that left him stunned. “His foot was in terrible shape. I told him he had to get to a hospital immediately.”
Doctors later confirmed the infection was so advanced, amputation was the only option. Several toes had to be removed in order to save his life at the time.
This shocking confession has sparked conversations about men’s health, pride, and the importance of early medical intervention… especially in Black communities where seeking help is often delayed or avoided.
