Rot Ken, a rapper associated with Taz Taylor’s Internet Money Records, has been apprehended and charged with murder in Augusta, Georgia. The arrest comes following an investigation into a shooting incident in April, during which Rot Ken and an accomplice allegedly opened fire on two individuals, resulting in the death of one victim.
According to the Augusta Press, authorities have confirmed Rot Ken as one of the primary suspects in the April shooting. He and his accomplice, Vinston Moultrie, reportedly approached two individuals in a vehicle on April 26. The assailants fired shots at the car, tragically leading to the death of one of the passengers, Usaini Yunusa.
The driver, Kobe Burns, survived the shooting but subsequently crashed into trees as he attempted to escape the scene. Burns, who was found to be intoxicated, now faces DUI charges in addition to being a victim of the incident.
Rot Ken, whose birth name is Kenneth Williams, has a history of legal troubles. He had recently spent ten days in jail for violating his probation terms and has now been detained again on a murder warrant. His prior conviction includes charges related to burglary, carrying a firearm during the commission of a felony, and theft of stolen property.
