Lauryn Hill and De La Soul, two pillars of the Hip Hop genre, have earned prestigious recognition from the Recording Academy this year for their remarkable contributions to music.
The announcement came on Wednesday (March 20), revealing that their seminal albums, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” (1998) and “3 Feet High and Rising” (1989), will be inducted into the esteemed Grammy Hall Of Fame in 2024.
This honor places them alongside timeless classics by Donna Summer, Wanda Jackson, and other notable artists.
The induction ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Novo Theater in Los Angeles, CA, on May 21, promising an evening filled with celebration and reverence for these iconic albums.
