A hotel located in Phoenix opened its heart of doors to homeless senior citizens. Unfortunately, Arizona is seeing a lot of senior citizens who are experiencing homelessness due to hard times and this hotel wanted to help.
Project Haven is what the city decided to call this helping hand. Project Haven has not only prevented sickness, but it has also helped heal a lot of hurt souls. Most seniors here say they love the idea of having their own bathroom, a door to their room that they can close, and a meal ready in the fridge.
In just one year, Project Haven has helped 217 senior citizens with 70% of them finding positive housing.
