A wild scene unfolded in East Hollywood after a driver allegedly launched his car into a crowd of people outside a popular nightclub early Saturday morning, leaving 37 victims injured, including several in critical condition.
Fernando Ramirez, the suspect behind the wheel, is now facing a staggering 74 felony charges… 37 counts of attempted murder and 37 counts of assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
Authorities say Ramirez deliberately swerved onto the sidewalk outside The Vermont Hollywood nightclub just after 2:00 AM, slamming into dozens of pedestrians. Eight of the victims reportedly suffered severe injuries.
Adding to the outrage: Ramirez was reportedly already out on bail for a domestic violence case in Orange County. He’s now being held without bail. If convicted, Ramirez could spend the rest of his life in prison.
