Henry Ruggs reached a major milestone while serving his prison sentence.
The former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver earned a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama, completing the program while incarcerated.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that Ruggs finished his final semester with a 4.0 GPA. Ruggs, the 12th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, pleaded guilty to felony DUI following a 2023 Las Vegas crash that killed Tina Tintor and her dog. He was sentenced to three to ten years in prison.
The Nevada Department of Corrections recently confirmed Ruggs was transferred from a minimum-security facility in Las Vegas to a medium-security prison in Northern Nevada.
