The actress and singer, who welcomed her first child with rapper DDG in December 2023, addressed a user on the platform X who accused her of “gaslighting” fans by not sharing details about her pregnancy.

Bailey clarified that she never lied or explicitly mentioned her pregnancy, except for making a light-hearted joke about her nose. In a post on Sunday, the 23-year-old expressed her confusion over the negativity, stating, “I never lied or even said anything about it honey , making a joke about my nose was the farthest i went . i’ll never understand why you are mad i protected my own peace, wouldn’t you do the same?”

She also announced her intention to share pictures of her son, emphasizing that she feels comfortable doing so now that he is safely here. Bailey added a lighthearted note, encouraging those uninterested in seeing the photos to simply “keep scrolling” and sending blessings to her followers.

In a second tweet, Bailey acknowledged her recent heightened hormonal state and humorously mentioned her plan to take a break from Twitter. She concluded with a message of love for her fans.

The user who prompted Bailey’s response claimed that fans were “annoyed” by her alleged deception and later desire to share every detail. They accused Bailey of shading people and called them desperate, suggesting a change in her approach.
