Gunplay Mad At Fans Who Reversed GoFundMe Contributions Following Rick Ross Gift

Gunplay recently voiced his disappointment towards fans who decided to refund their donations to his GoFundMe campaign after assuming the funds were utilized to purchase a necklace for Rick Ross. The fundraiser was initially initiated by Gunplay’s partner to seek financial assistance in covering their daughter’s medical expenses following her emergency heart surgery in February. Overall, the couple successfully raised slightly over $30,000. However, the controversy surrounding the fundraiser was brought up during DJ Envy’s recent feud with Rick Ross.

In a video that surfaced on various social media platforms, Gunplay is seen gifting Ross a brand-new chain. Subsequently, some fans reportedly requested refunds for their contributions to the family’s GoFundMe. Gunplay addressed this issue in a recent interview with We In Miami, stating, “Every single one of you individuals who donated to the GoFundMe and then sought a refund, it’s evident that you didn’t contribute with genuine intentions. You are displaying a lack of empathy and compassion. Your actions are deplorable, and you will bear the consequences.” He further added, “Whenever I display an act of generosity towards my brother, there are always speculations that the GoFundMe funds were utilized for that purpose. But let me make it clear, my brother paid me back. So, if anyone genuinely questions whether the money was used for the chain, how did it instantaneously return without any pressure?”

Despite Gunplay’s argument, it did not sway the opinions of many fans. We In Miami shared the video clip on Instagram, and one commenter expressed their concerns, stating, “How can you afford to purchase diamond chains for your friends while simultaneously requesting donations for your child? It’s only natural to have doubts.” Another commenter remarked, “The fact that he fails to recognize the issue is truly astonishing.”
