In his latest music video for “Rodeo Dr,” Atlanta recording artist Gunna draws inspiration from a historic pop culture moment that captivated millions nearly thirty years ago. The video pays homage to the infamous low-speed chase involving former NFL star O.J. Simpson, which was witnessed by a reported 95 million people on national television.

O.J. Simpson’s life took a dramatic turn after he became a suspect in the tragic murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. On June 17, 1994, Los Angeles-area law enforcement embarked on a 60-mile pursuit of Simpson, who was found crouched in the backseat of a 1993 white Ford Bronco. Eventually, Simpson was taken into custody and later acquitted in the case.
