“Goodfellas” actor Paul Sorvino has passed away at the age of 83. The “Goodfellas” actor’s publicist, Roger Neal, said he passed away from natural causes. Sorvino was best known for playing Paulie Cicero in the 1990 mob classic “Goodfellas.”
Sorvino is survived by his wife and three children. His wife had this to say about her beloved husband.
“He was the of my life and one of the greatest performers to ever grace the screen and stage,” Mrs. Sorvino added.
Mira Sorvino took to Twitter to pay tribute to her father.
“My father, the great Paul Sorvino, has passed,” she wrote. “My heart is rent asunder – a life of love and joy and wisdom with him is over. He was the most wonderful father.”
