GloRilla, the talented artist signed under CMG, has chosen to honor Lil Kim during the “Leo season” by recreating one of her most memorable photoshoots from the 1990s.
On Instagram, GloRilla set the platform ablaze as she struck the Queen Bee’s squat pose, donning a stunning silver bathing suit and jacket. In addition, she shared two other captivating images showcasing her beautifully tattooed physique.
In the caption, she wrote, “If I didn’t have a deal I’d still be worth some mills💰LEO SEASON APPROACHING……….🦁”
The comments section buzzed with excitement and engagement, but it was Lil Kim herself who bestowed her approval upon GloRilla. The trailblazing female rap icon left a comment comprising a smiling cat with heart-eyes emoji, along with fire and heart emojis.
Lil Kim originally struck this pose in 1996 for her debut album, Hard Core. The cover art featured her in a provocative stance atop a polar bear rug adorned in alluring lingerie.
Since then, numerous female rappers, including Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Coi Leray, and DreamDoll, have drawn inspiration from the Brooklyn native and paid homage through their own recreations.
