GloRilla, the popular “Yeah Glo!” rapper, is at the center of a legal dispute with Atlanta investor Aristotle Varner Jr., who claims she defrauded him of more than $400,000.
According to Varner Jr., the lawsuit stems from GloRilla’s failure to fulfill promotional duties that she had promised.
On Friday, May 24, Varner Jr. shared details of his lawsuit during an interview on The Morning Hustle. He accused GloRilla of breaching their agreement, which included several promotional activities.
“She was already famous. It’s just the typical celebrity arrogance, thinking she can ignore the contract,” Varner Jr. commented.
Court documents, revealed by Spade TV, outline that Varner Jr. paid $150,000 for GloRilla to perform several tasks:
- Post a collaborative Instagram message
- Attend an in-person meet-and-greet
- Conduct a 30-minute interview with “celebrity” Asia Varner, his wife
Varner Jr. alleges that GloRilla only completed the Instagram post and neglected the other agreed-upon activities, breaching the contract established in 2022.
