Ghislaine Maxwell isn’t buying the official story behind Jeffrey Epstein’s shocking 2019 death. The disgraced socialite and longtime associate of Epstein told investigators she’s convinced there’s “no way” the financier took his own life inside a Manhattan jail cell.
The revelations come from a newly released Justice Department transcript of Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche’s interview with Maxwell. When pressed about her opinion, Maxwell flatly rejected the suicide narrative, insisting Epstein was killed… but not for the reasons conspiracy theorists often suggest.
According to Maxwell, Epstein’s death wasn’t a political cover-up designed to silence secrets about his powerful friends. Instead, she believes it was a straightforward prison hit, potentially carried out by another inmate. From her own time behind bars, Maxwell explained that it doesn’t take much to arrange a hit inside prison walls, hinting that bribery could have played a role.
She dismissed theories about the “deep state” or Illuminati ordering Epstein’s death as “ludicrous,” adding that if those forces really wanted him gone, “they would have gotten to him much earlier… and on the outside.”
While Maxwell avoided speculating on the exact motive, her claim fuels the ongoing firestorm surrounding one of the most controversial deaths in modern U.S. history.
