George Clooney isn’t losing sleep over Donald Trump’s latest insults. The Hollywood legend and two-time Oscar winner made it clear he’s unbothered after the Donald Trump mocked him as a “fake movie actor” on Truth Social.
During an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, Clooney brushed off the personal attacks. “I don’t care,” he said. “I’ve known Donald Trump for years. Pleasing him isn’t my job. My responsibility is to speak the truth when I can… and I know not everyone will like that.”
Clooney’s remarks come in response to Trump’s renewed criticism. Even Elon Musk has chimed in with his opinions, but Clooney remains undeterred. “They’re allowed to share their views,” he said. “Just like I’m allowed to speak mine.”
Trump, clearly irked by Clooney’s political stance, blasted him online: “Now fake movie actor George Clooney, who never came close to making a great movie, is getting into the act. He turned on Crooked Joe like the rats they both are.”
But Clooney isn’t backing down… standing firm on his beliefs and calling it his “civic duty” to speak out when it matters most.
