In one of the strangest TSA finds yet, a Florida woman was caught trying to smuggle two turtles through security… stuffed in her bra.
According to the Transportation Security Administration, the incident happened at Miami International Airport when agents discovered the reptiles wrapped in gauze and plastic tucked inside the woman’s undergarment. She was stopped during screening, and officials quickly realized what she was hiding.
While the TSA didn’t release her identity or the turtle species, they confirmed that one of the turtles sadly didn’t survive the ordeal. The other was handed over to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for care.
The TSA took to social media with a clear and cheeky reminder:
“Friends, please… stop sneaking animals through security by hiding them on your body. It’s not safe, and it’s definitely not smart.”
This bizarre attempt at animal smuggling is just the latest reminder that airport security sees everything… and wildlife trafficking won’t fly.
