Flo Rida And His Company Acquire Miami Gardens Retail Plaza For $10 Million

Rapper and entrepreneur Flo Rida is making significant strides in the business world. Recently, he and his firm made a strategic move by purchasing the well-known Cloverleaf Shopping Plaza in Miami Gardens for a substantial sum of $10 million, as reported by the South Florida Business Journal. The property, initially listed at $14.5 million, was obtained at a great deal, showcasing Flo Rida’s astute investment acumen.

According to real estate broker David Heinrich, Flo Rida’s team recognized the plaza’s potential despite a challenge posed by longstanding tenants, with approximately 90% of them having rented stores there for over three decades. The former owner had offered the tenants rent considerably below the market value, keeping the rents unchanged for years. It remains to be seen if Flo Rida’s team will make adjustments to the pricing of this expansive two-acre property.

Situated across from the bustling Miami Gardens Square Shopping Mall, located on Miami Gardens Drive and US 441, the Cloverleaf Plaza enjoys a high-traffic location, further enhancing its potential value.

This acquisition marks Flo Rida’s second significant move in recent months. JettSet1 Enterprises, in partnership with Biom Therapeutics, successfully acquired a leading cannabinoid-derived company dedicated to researching rare childhood diseases like Angelman Syndrome.

Furthermore, Flo Rida resolved a substantial $82 million lawsuit with energy drink company Celsius earlier this year. Additionally, he demonstrated his commitment to giving back by contributing significantly to youth programming and kids’ charities, including Big Dreams For Kids and a youth football league in February 2023.
