Eminem is placing his bets on Kendrick Lamar to sweep the 2025 Grammy Awards, showing immense respect for the Compton lyricist’s craft.
During a recent chat with DJ Whoo Kid on SiriusXM’s Shade45, the Detroit rap icon confidently declared that Kendrick will take home all seven awards he’s nominated for at the 67th Grammy Awards, set to air on February 2.
Slim Shady, who will go head-to-head with Kendrick in the Best Rap Performance category, admitted the competition is fierce… but he believes the “Alright” hitmaker is unstoppable.
“It’s some serious competition out there,” Eminem remarked. “But Kendrick? He’s going to sweep that shit. He deserves to. Kendrick is at the very, very top tier of lyricists… not just in this generation, but of all time.”
