It looks like Elon Musk isn’t playing any games regarding his new baby Twitter. Employees at the company are unhappy with their new boss, Mr. Elon Musk, and they aren’t wasting any time voicing and tweeting how they feel.
Musk issued an ultimatum to all Twitter employees: Commit to a new “hardcore” Twitter or leave the company with severance pay. The Washington Post obtained an email saying that Twitter would be shifting to an engineer-driven operation, one that “will need to be extremely hardcore” going forward.
“This will mean working long hours at high intensity. Only exceptional performance will constitute a passing grade.”
Musk has already slashed half of the 7,500 employees who were at Twitter when he took over the company.
Musk and Twitter did not respond to requests for comment.
