Welcome to the future of fine dining! A groundbreaking culinary revolution is headed to downtown Dubai this September, just steps from the iconic Burj Khalifa. The buzz? A futuristic dining destination named WOOHOO, where artificial intelligence is the mastermind behind the entire restaurant experience.
At the heart of WOOHOO is Chef Aiman… the world’s first AI chef. Short for a blend of “AI” and “man,” Chef Aiman isn’t your typical cook. This innovative culinary brain has been trained on decades of gastronomic research, global recipes, and molecular food science. While human chefs will still plate and prep the meals, the genius behind every flavor pairing, mood-setting light, and curated menu comes straight from Aiman’s digital brain.
“Chef Aiman doesn’t need to taste or smell,” said co-founder Ahmet Oytun Cakir. “He understands food by breaking it down into data… analyzing textures, acidity, umami, and more… to build unexpected but delicious combinations.”
Working alongside real-life kitchen pros like acclaimed Dubai chef Reif Othman, Aiman’s creations are tested, tasted, and perfected by humans, turning AI-generated ideas into unforgettable dishes. “My learning evolves with every bit of feedback,” Chef Aiman shared via an AI-generated interview.
But don’t worry… this isn’t about replacing chefs. It’s about upgrading them. “We’re not here to take the human out of the kitchen,” added Cakir, CEO of Gastronaut, the hospitality group behind the project. “We’re here to boost creativity, sustainability, and innovation.”
Chef Aiman also comes with an eco-friendly edge, crafting recipes that make use of ingredients often discarded… from meat trimmings to kitchen scraps… to reduce food waste and support a more sustainable future.
The long-term vision? Licensing Aiman’s capabilities to restaurants worldwide, helping chefs everywhere cut waste, craft smarter menus, and step into the AI-assisted future of dining.
