Barista and Julith Coffee co-founder Serkan Sagsoz is seen brewing the ultra-exclusive Nido 7FC Panama coffee… priced at 3,600 AED (about $980 USD)… inside his Dubai café on October 30, 2025.
Dubai is taking luxury coffee culture to a whole new level… with a café now serving a cup of coffee priced at an unbelievable $980.
Julith Café, located in an industrial district that has become one of Dubai’s hottest coffee attractions, just unveiled what is being called the most expensive cup of coffee on the planet. The elite brew comes from ultra-rare Panamanian Nido 7 Geisha beans… beans the café says they fought for in an intense auction, spending roughly $600,000 for just 20 kilograms.
“The world’s highest graded coffee has finally arrived in Dubai,” said co-founder Serkan Sagsoz, who previously owned a coffee shop in Turkey. The café plans to serve about 400 exclusive cups starting this weekend.
For nearly a thousand dollars a cup, Sagsoz claims the taste itself is unlike anything most people have ever experienced… describing it as delicate, floral, fruity, and sweet with hints of jasmine, citrus, apricot and peach. “It’s like honey,” he said.
Dubai is no stranger to this kind of jaw-dropping luxury… the city already has Guinness World Records for outrageous achievements, huge malls, world-first attractions, and over-the-top indulgences. And while residents are stunned by the price, many admit this is exactly the kind of ‘only in Dubai’ moment people expect.
Some say it’s wild. Others say this is just typical Dubai status flex. But there’s no doubt … wealthy collectors, Asian buyers, and high-end coffee fanatics are already trying to get their hands on the exclusive Geisha beans… though Julith says they’re keeping it extremely limited, aside from a portion reportedly reserved for Dubai’s royal family.
