Druski, the comedic sensation, has teamed up with none other than Snoop Dogg for his latest single titled “Standin on Bidness,” marking yet another highlight in his ongoing Coulda Been House docuseries venture.
In the music video accompanying the track, both Druski and Snoop sport matching attire while showcasing their moves, with Snoop, true to form, enjoying a smoke.
One line from Snoop’s verse has sparked conversations: “Sign on the dotted line/1% is yours, 99 is mine.”
Fans couldn’t help but react, with one remarking, “Snoop’s lyric ‘1% is yours, 99 is mine’ had me in stitches. I wouldn’t even think about signing that deal.”
Another echoed similar sentiments, stating, “Snoop’s saying sign away 1% and keep 99… and people are still willing to sign and then gripe later… but that’s just him standing firm on his business.”
During a recent appearance on Undisputed, Druski shed light on the Coulda Been House project, which streams live on YouTube.
“We pretty much bankrolled this ourselves and gathered all the contenders from Coulda Been Records — our label — under one roof, vying for a $50,000 prize,” he elaborated. “So, we’re offering opportunities, brother, but it’s not handed out freely — you’ve got to earn it.”
Shortly after, a teaser for the reality show parody dropped on YouTube. The frenzied preview showcases Druski in his role as a “record label owner,” introducing the show’s concept akin to Big Brother, with Snoop Dogg making appearances as the quasi-label head, playfully poking fun at the style of shows like Making the Band.
