This outfit choice is particularly notable given that the Tupac estate recently blocked Drake from using “AI 2Pac” lines on his Kendrick Lamar diss track, “Taylor Made Freestyle.”
Local DJ Ari revealed she’s been warned multiple times for playing Drake’s track “Not Like Us” in Houston nightclubs. Fans believe it’s J Prince’s crew enforcing the ban. Regardless of the speculation, Drake seems unfazed and continues to show his Tupac fandom proudly.
It’s unclear if Drake’s wardrobe is a subtle jab at Kendrick, but his admiration for Tupac is undeniable. In fact, Tupac was Drake’s top Spotify artist just a few years ago.
