Dame Dash recently revealed that Drake has expressed interest in purchasing his one-third stake in the legendary Roc-A-Fella Records. The news came during an interview on Dash’s America Nu Network, where the Harlem entrepreneur shared intriguing details about Drake’s surprising offer.
According to Dame, the OVO hitmaker reached out through Instagram to initiate the potential deal, though the exact figure Drake proposed remains a mystery. “Drake hollered at me through DM and made an offer,” Dame explained. “I’m not quite sure what happened, but I thought he might have already connected with Jay or something, but I don’t know.”
Dash emphasized that the sale would be lucrative for Drake if he has the resources to close the deal. “It would be a good time to close, but only if you got it,” he added. “If you want to own a third of Roc-A-Fella, be part of the board meetings for the next seven years, and continue making money from Reasonable Doubt, then it’s a good deal.”
