Taking to his Instagram Stories on Monday (February 26), the legendary rapper shared a picture of Lanez accompanied by the caption: “3 you.”

Drake’s endorsement swiftly sparked outrage among Megan’s fanbase, with many expressing dismay at the Canadian artist for backing a figure convicted of shooting Megan in the feet.

One individual voiced on X, “Drake needs to stop this…trying to provoke Megan because he’s well aware that this troubled individual belongs behind bars.”

Another criticized, “Drake, who commands one of the most substantial followings in hip-hop, has been actively rallying his audience, primarily consisting of misogynistic men and those who identify as such, to target a Black woman who is a victim of gun violence for over a year. Yet, they persist in painting Megan as the antagonist.”
