Theresa Mcgailey’s yorkie-shih tzu named Uno fled her home when fireworks went off. Uno was found 100 miles from her home.
Theresa said when Uno bolted through the door, her children were heartbroken. Poor Uno’s home is in Wiltshire, and the little pooch was found living as a stray in Weymouth, Dorset, last week.
Theresa explained how happy she was to have found her best friend. “It gives people hope that if you’ve lost your dog, there’s a chance that they can still come home.”
“Uno was absolutely fine. As soon as he saw me, he came running up to me and was licking me. The feeling was so immense, just happiness and relief that he was back, relief that there was nothing wrong with him.”
