Dame Dash is making headlines again, this time with some explosive claims about Diddy that are sure to stir up controversy. Speaking on his America Nu Network, the Roc-A-Fella co-founder suggested that Diddy, the long-time face of Cîroc vodka, may have spiked bottles of the drink with substances that “turned rappers g*y.”
Dash didn’t hold back as he delved into what he called the “illest” part of Diddy’s alleged behavior. “What’s crazy to me is if his hustle is putting stuff in people’s drinks, and then he made a liquor,” Dash stated. He went on to suggest that if Diddy was secretly engaging in misconduct with men, the drinks might have played a role. “He’s making somebody g*y that doesn’t wanna be g*y. So I’m like, ‘What was in them drinks?’”
The entrepreneur then took it a step further, linking his theory to a broader shift in Hip Hop culture. He questioned when the genre lost its tough, masculine edge, implying that spiked drinks could be to blame. “Tough n***as started wearing dresses and pocketbooks. Maybe that could be the reason Hip Hop took a turn for the feminine.”
Dash also brought up a past encounter with rapper and podcaster N.O.R.E., recalling an awkward moment during their “Drink Champs” interview in 2020 when he felt pressured to drink Cîroc. “I brought my own liquor,” Dash said, explaining how he made N.O.R.E. take shots of Cîroc, which led to some bizarre behavior.
In a bizarre twist, Dame also dragged his former business partner JAY-Z into his wild claims, recalling an incident involving JAY’s former Cognac brand, D’USSÉ. According to Dash, he got “ridiculously drunk” on D’USSÉ at a concert for his daughter, leading to a wrestling match with comedian Kevin Hart. “I don’t get this drunk. Why am I so drunk?” Dash questioned, again suggesting something suspicious might have been going on with the drinks.
These allegations, though unproven, are adding more fuel to the fire of public discourse surrounding Hip Hop, Diddy’s empire, and how the genre has evolved over the years. Whether these claims hold any merit or are simply outlandish theories, Dash’s comments are sure to spark debate.
