DaBaby recently shared that he and Lil Baby once discussed creating a joint album, a project that never quite got off the ground but still holds potential for the future.
In a conversation with Bootleg Kev on October 10, the North Carolina rapper reminisced about the missed opportunity to collaborate with the Atlanta star. DaBaby revealed they had plans to work together but couldn’t find the time due to their busy schedules.
“We definitely talked about doing a collab project,” DaBaby recalled. “We just couldn’t get our timing right. The idea was for me to head to Atlanta for a few days and for him to come my way, but it never happened.”
Despite the project being shelved for now, DaBaby is still excited about the possibility. “It’s something I’m still open to,” he continued. “I love working with top-tier artists, and collaborating with Lil Baby would be a guaranteed success. When it comes to me, I feel like it’s always a win.”
While fans eagerly await to see if these two hip-hop giants will unite for a project, DaBaby’s openness to future collaborations keeps the hope alive. Stay tuned for what could be one of the most anticipated albums in rap.
