Customers Thank You Note Leaves Waitress In Tears

You never know what someone is going through, so it’s always important that we keep that in mind when going through life. Megan King (@alienpostarr) shared some heartwarming photos with her Twitter followers. Her tweet that shows a photo of a note that a customer left with their tip has gone viral with more than 600,000 likes.

“Thank you very much for your kind service. This was my first time eating out alone since my husband passed. I was hoping I could get through it.”

The tip, of course, was more than $1; you just can’t see the other bills. But for Megan, the money doesn’t matter; the fact that she helped someone get through another day is the best tip anyone could receive.

“A lot of our customers are older and living on fixed incomes, so they tip what they can,” King told Newsweek. “They are always welcome, no matter how much or little they tip.”
