Diddy’s legal team might need to check their facts after Costco publicly refuted a recent claim about the music mogul’s alleged bulk baby oil purchases. The retail giant has set the record straight, stating they’ve never sold baby oil in their U.S. stores.
According to TMZ, Costco’s spokesperson firmly denied selling baby oil after Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, suggested the rap icon may have bought the product in bulk from the wholesale warehouse.
However, a quick search on Costco’s website reveals no listings for baby oil, throwing cold water on the claim.
While Costco does stock products like baby hair gel and cleansing gel, nothing resembling baby oil appears in their inventory. Additionally, a search for “body oil” also yields no results, further debunking the lawyer’s suggestion.
As the debate heats up, it’s clear that Diddy’s legal defense may need a new source for the baby oil claim, as Costco has made it clear they’re not involved.
