The ocean is filled with sea creatures of all kinds, some friendly and some very dangerous. Unfortunately, TikToker Julianobayd was clueless about just how dangerous the creature in his hand was.
“Anyone know what this is?” Julianobayd said in the video he was filming.
It didn’t take long for viewers in the video to inform him that the creature he was holding was a Glaucus Atlanticus, known as a Blue Dragon Sea Slug, and extremely dangerous at that.
Blue Dragons absorb the venom from other sea life that it feeds on.
If it feels threatened or even if it is touched, the Blue Dragon will release the venom as a defense mechanism.
Blue Dragons only grow to about an inch long and are often found in warm, tropical waters.
If a Blue Dragon Sea Slug stings you, it’s excruciating and dangerous. So never handle or touch a Blue Dragon Sea Slug at all.
