In a highly anticipated and rare event, the Clipse recently reunited to deliver an electrifying set at the Hyde Park Summerfest in Chicago. Taking the stage at Midway Plaisance Park on Saturday night (June 17), Pusha T and No Malice amazed the audience with an unforgettable performance, transforming Hyde Park into what has been dubbed ‘Pyrex Park.’
According to Andrew Barber from FakeShoreDrive, the duo brought a massive snow globe onto the stage, adding a captivating visual element to their show. Barber reported, “Clipse just reunited in Chicago and turned Hyde Park into Pyrex Park — complete with a snow globe on stage,” he wrote. “Pusha T & Malice performed the majority of the ‘Hell Hath No Fury’ album tonight.”
Videos surfaced online, capturing the Virginia Beach-bred duo passionately rapping along to the opening track of their acclaimed album, “We Got It For Cheap.” Fans were overwhelmed with excitement upon witnessing Pusha T and Malice reunite, and many still hold onto hope for another album from the talented duo. Their last album, “Til The Casket Drops,” was released back in 2009.
Social media buzzed with anticipation as fans speculated that this reunion performance might indicate the Clipse’s return to album mode. One enthusiastic individual expressed, “Gotta be gearing up for album mode,” while another fan chimed in, stating, “Seeing Clipse perform ‘Hell Hath No Fury’ is a bucket list item for me. That album holds great significance.” Although the Clipse has remained tight-lipped about a potential comeback album, they subtly hinted at the possibility during a conversation with executive Steven Victor at last year’s ComplexCon.
