The couple expressed their happiness and gratitude for this addition to their family. The birth of Wren holds special significance for Chrissy, who had always dreamed of having four children.

“For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted four children. As a little girl, 2 glow worms and 2 cabbage patch dolls were perpetually in my arms, helping me stir in my kitchen, watching Alf with me. We’d sleep together nightly, each getting the same amount of kisses as to note make the others jealous.”

“My mom always searched for the Pound Puppy with 4 pups in her pouch, having no qualms about opening and peeking inside before purchasing. After losing Jack, I didn’t think I’d be able to carry any more babies on my own. To be honest, I’ve personally blocked out a lot of my mindset during that time, but one clear memory is being surrounded by people who wanted to make sure I wouldn’t go through that pain and loss again.”

In her heartfelt message, she reminisced about her childhood companions, glow worms, and cabbage patch dolls, who were her constant partners in play. She also mentioned their late son, Jack, and the profound impact his loss had on them. Recognizing her own limitations, Chrissy revealed her inability to carry more children and the emotional journey that followed.

In 2021, Chrissy and John embarked on a surrogacy journey, eventually connecting with a compassionate surrogate named Alexandra. They formed a close bond, sharing memorable moments together, including celebratory meals and watching Vanderpump Rules.

On the magical night of June 19th, Chrissy witnessed Alexandra’s incredible strength and love as she gave birth to Wren, amidst a hint of chaos. The couple expressed their profound gratitude for the beautiful woman who made their dreams come true.

“Just minutes before midnight on June 19th, I got to witness the most beautiful woman, my friend, our surrogate, give birth amidst a bit of chaos, but with strength and pure joy and love,” she wrote.
