Charlamagne tha God, the host of the “Breakfast Club” radio show, suggested Kendrick Lamar and Kodak Black are equally as good at rapping, but fans don’t think so.
Charlamagne has always had his view on specific topics, but this time fans don’t feel the same way about his opinion on Kendrick Lamar and Kodak Black. Instead, they disagree with him, thinking that the two rappers are on the same level.
On an episode of the podcast “The Brilliant Idiots,” Charlamagne said, “Man, do people realize how dope Kodak Black is?”
“Not just as a personality but as a rapper, as an artist. The thing that warms my heart the most is I know these true hip-hop heads be like, ‘Ah, Kodak Black.’
“I look at Kodak Black the same way I look at Kendrick Lamar,” Charlamagne continued.
“I’m not even joking. I feel like they’re both two different levels of prolific, and they’re telling similar stories, just from different places. They are just two different versions of the same kid from the hood.”
No matter how good Charlamagne put it, the fans believe that he’s lost his mind on this one. Kendrick Lamar’s definitely on another level, fans suggest.
