Brooklyn rapper Casanova, currently serving a 15-year prison sentence, has given a heartfelt shout-out to fellow artist Tory Lanez for supporting him financially while both are incarcerated.
Casanova, who has been behind bars since 2020 following his indictment in connection with the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang, remains determined to fight for his freedom. Despite his legal battles, the rapper took a moment to acknowledge Lanez for his unexpected generosity.
In a message shared on Instagram, Casanova expressed his gratitude: “@torylanez you one of the realest n***as I ever met. How you in jail looking out for a n***a in jail? Sent me enough money to last me for a whole year lol. I love ya heart, I love ya soul. Free us til you see us!”
Tory Lanez, who is currently serving a 10-year sentence for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, has reportedly been extending his support to other inmates as well at the California Correctional Institution.
Both artists continue to fight their legal battles, with Casanova’s message shedding light on their camaraderie even in the toughest of times.
