In a heated appearance on CNN’s “Newsnight,” rapper Cam’ron unleashed his frustration when asked about Diddy’s recent apology to Cassie.
Hosted by Abby Phillip, the interview quickly spiraled out of control, highlighting the rapper’s discontent with the topic.
During the interview, Phillip referenced a 2016 surveillance video showing Diddy assaulting Cassie at Los Angeles’ InterContinental Hotel.
When asked if he recognized Diddy in the footage, Cam’ron expressed his disdain for Diddy’s actions, labeling them “egregious.”
However, the rapper’s irritation became evident as he responded, “I don’t know him like that. What do you mean did I recognize him? I seen him. What do you mean my experiences?” His tone reflected his growing frustration with the line of questioning.
The tension escalated further when Phillip brought up Diddy’s recent apology video. Despite Diddy expressing remorse for his behavior, he did not directly apologize to Cassie, citing a non-disclosure agreement.
Cam’ron was quick to retort, “The apology ain’t for me to decide, it’s for Cassie. He ain’t do nothing for me. What I think about it don’t matter.”
As the interview continued, Cam’ron’s agitation was palpable. He took a shot of his sexual intimacy supplement, PinkHorsePower, and unabashedly promoted the product, claiming it was effective for enhancing sexual performance.
His abrupt product endorsement added a surreal twist to the already tense interview.
Despite Phillip’s attempts to steer the conversation back to the broader implications of the rap industry’s protection of Diddy, Cam’ron’s patience had worn thin.
He turned to someone off-screen and demanded, “Who booked me for this joint?” signaling his frustration with the entire segment.
