Legendary for his dynamic stage presence and an extensive collection of hit songs, Busta Rhymes recently asserted his belief that he could outperform any challenger in a Verzuz battle.
In a candid interview with UK sneaker and streetwear store Kick Game for their “Shopping for Sneakers” video series, Busta Rhymes confidently expressed his readiness to go head-to-head with any artist, transcending geographical boundaries and even welcoming extraterrestrial competitors.
During the interview, host Craig Mitch inquired about potential contenders for Busta in the popular Verzuz battle series, where two artists showcase their top 20 songs to win over the audience. Unfazed, Busta Rhymes declared, “Nobody. I’ma bust anybody’s a**.”
Expanding his scope beyond conventional limits, the Blockbusta artist boldly asserted his readiness to face off against competitors from various regions. “Asia, UK, Eastern Europe, Hispanic geographic landscape, any alien who wants to come from Mars,” Busta Rhymes proclaimed, emphasizing his eagerness to take on challenges from around the globe.
In a humorous yet assertive tone, Busta concluded, “I’m with all the smoke. I smoke cigarettes, cigars, weed, houses burning down, all of that. I’ll smoke all of that. I’m with the smoke.” This confident declaration not only showcases his self-assuredness but also adds a touch of humor to his Verzuz aspirations.
