A night at Sky Meadow Country Club turned violent Saturday when gunfire erupted, leaving multiple people wounded.
Police say the shooting happened around 8 p.m. at the Nashua venue, about 45 miles from Boston. Initial reports of two suspects fleeing prompted a large-scale manhunt, but surveillance footage later confirmed there was only one shooter — now in custody.
Authorities confirm at least one victim is in critical condition. Ambulances rushed several people to nearby hospitals, though officials have not said how many were injured.
Police set up a reunification center at the Sheraton Hotel nearby and urged the public to avoid the area while the investigation continues.
Officials stressed there is no ongoing danger to the community.
