Boxing phenom Gervonta “Tank” Davis is once again in the legal spotlight… this time for an alleged domestic violence incident involving his ex-girlfriend.
The 30-year-old fighter was taken into custody early Friday morning in Miami Beach. Law enforcement sources confirmed that a license plate reader flagged his vehicle, leading to his arrest. His mugshot, now circulating online, shows the boxing star in a white polo shirt with a blank expression.
According to reports, the alleged incident occurred on June 15… Father’s Day… just after 9 PM, during a child exchange with his former partner. What began as a verbal dispute reportedly escalated into a physical altercation.
The woman claims Davis hit her in the back of the head and slapped her in the face, resulting in a cut. Her mother, who was present after the incident, told police she found her daughter visibly shaken and in tears. Authorities also say the alleged victim turned over a video showing Davis throwing a small box at her during the heated exchange.
This isn’t the first time Davis has faced legal trouble. The undefeated champ has had several prior arrests, raising fresh concerns about his conduct outside the ring.
