Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, the iconic musical group, has faced a significant setback as their honorary street sign was stolen mere days after it was proudly installed to honor their legacy.
This past Sunday (August 13), the “Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Way” street sign, positioned near the intersection of East 99th Street and St. Clair Avenue in their hometown of Cleveland, was reported missing, as reported by The Neighborhood Talk.
This unfortunate incident prompted emotional reactions from several members of the revered musical ensemble. Layzie Bone expressed his frustration on his Instagram Stories, stating, “People can be so disappointing.”
Bizzy Bone also shared his thoughts on his IG Stories, urging everyone to stay calm and explaining, “The sign was placed in a less visible area of the street, let’s not overreact with excessive disappointment, please STOP!!” Back in June, the announcement was made that Bone Thugs-N-Harmony would be honored with a street sign, all thanks to a passionate fan named Felicia C. Haney, who owns Beach Street Publicity, and Juan Goodwin.
Their collective effort successfully garnered a substantial 70 percent of the required signatures, leading to support from Cleveland City Council, including Council Member Kevin Conwell, who championed the petition, eventually leading to the legislative approval needed to turn the fan’s dream into reality.
On the memorable day of Friday (August 11), the street sign was ceremoniously unveiled in the presence of Bizzy Bone, Krayzie Bone, and a host of enthusiastic fans.
