Bobby Shmurda has stirred up major controversy by accusing JAY-Z’s Roc Nation of being behind the rumors about Diddy and Meek Mill’s alleged relationship being more than just professional.
During an appearance on The Danza Project, the Brooklyn rapper, who was once managed by Roc Nation, hinted that the label sparked these rumors after Meek Mill parted ways with them in 2022.
“I’ma tell you what’s going on with Meek. I left the team that Meek was on. Meek left that team. If you leave that team, they come for you,” Shmurda revealed. He likened leaving Roc Nation to ending a relationship with someone who has significant power.
“It’s like leaving a girl with a lot of power. She’s gonna try to make your life a living hell. She’s like, ‘We own the internets, we’re gonna spread all the rumors about you. I’m gonna pay for 3,000 comments making jokes.’”
Bobby didn’t stop there—he claimed to have been targeted by a similar smear campaign, alleging that Roc Nation attempted to label him as g*y. “They tried to call me g*y. I f**k the most b*tches ever. Like, come on, for real?” Shmurda exclaimed. “I’m not even mad at them doing it; it be the n***as that believe it.”
The bold allegations have only added fuel to the ongoing speculation and rumors surrounding Diddy, Meek Mill, and the influence of powerful music labels like Roc Nation.
