Blueface’s summer plans have taken a drastic turn as the “Thotiana” rapper received a 4-year prison sentence, dashing his mother’s hopes for a summer celebration. The shocking news was delivered in court, leaving his parents heartbroken.
Blueface’s father, Johnathan, struggled to hold back tears upon hearing the sentence, while his mother, Karlissa, expressed gratitude to fans and reassured them that her son had made positive changes during his time behind bars.
Wack 100, Blueface’s manager, revealed to TMZ Hip Hop that he had managed to delay the sentencing for several years. However, a recent incident involving drug paraphernalia led the judge to impose the maximum sentence.
Despite the harsh ruling, Wack remains hopeful, predicting that Blueface could be released in approximately 10 months. His calculation factors in the 440 days already served and the possibility that California law might only require one-third of the remaining sentence to be completed.
The rapper’s legal troubles stem from a 2021 assault case at Skinny’s Lounge in the San Fernando Valley, which initially placed him on probation.
