Born Demetrius Flenory, the co-founder of the legendary Black Mafia Family (BMF) was sentenced to 30 years in prison back in 2008 for charges related to drug trafficking and money laundering. At 56 years old, Meech has become an enduring figure in hip-hop culture, inspiring countless references in music, film, and television.
In October, Meech transitioned from prison to community confinement, signaling a new chapter in his life. He is currently set to be fully released on January 27, 2026.
