Despite being sidelined from her WNBA season due to a wrist injury, Angel Reese, the star of the Chicago Sky, is still making waves off the court.
The 22-year-old basketball sensation took center stage during Usher’s Los Angeles concert at the Intuit Dome on Sunday night, proving she knows how to command attention even away from the game.
As Usher, draped in a bold fur coat with no shirt underneath, performed his hit song “There Goes My Baby,” he made his way over to Reese’s table, treating her to a special serenade. In a playful moment, the R&B legend turned the mic towards Reese, inviting her to join in. To the crowd’s delight, Reese didn’t shy away—she confidently sang along, hitting several lines of the track as the audience cheered her on.
While the crowd loved her impromptu performance, Reese remained modest about her singing skills. She later took to Instagram, laughing at herself, writing, “Look at me struggling to sing.”
Though her basketball season may be on pause, it’s clear Angel Reese knows how to keep the spotlight on her, whether on the court or at an Usher concert.
