This comment served as a trigger for Akademiks, who then proceeded to launch into a vehement verbal tirade directed at the R&B singer. It’s important to note that Badu had famously compared Akademiks to the cartoon character from “Tom & Jerry” during an appearance on Complex’s “Everyday Struggle” in 2017.
