NBC reported that a 26-year-old man was found in an American Airlines landing gear when the flight landed Saturday at Miami International Airport. The 26-year-old was taken to the hospital so they could make sure he didn’t have any injuries.
The amazing thing about this is he lived to be able to tell his story. The American Airlines flight was coming from Guatemala to Miami Saturday morning.
Video of the incident shows a man being questioned and checked to see if he is injured before being taken into custody and off to the hospital.
“U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at Miami International Airport apprehended a 26-year-old man who attempted to evade detection in the landing gear compartment of an aircraft arriving from Guatemala Saturday morning,” the spokesperson said.
