One family got a large surprise when they found a large python inside of their home.
The homeowner immediately called Stuart Mckenzie, from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7. Once Mckenzie arrived at the scene, the homeowner said that the python was in the washing basket and somehow isn’t there anymore.
Mckenzie searched in drawers, closets, and the side of the bed, but had no luck.
Finally, he decided to check the head of the bed. Mckenzie moved back some of the pillows… and to everyone’s surprise, there was the python.
“There it is, it’s behind the bed. That’s unbelievable. At the end of the bed,” Mckenzie said. “You do not belong at the end of a young lady’s bed. You’re going back in the bush my friend.”
The Python turned out to be a Carpet python, which is generally shy and non-venomous and doesn’t pose a huge risk to humans. Although they do grow up to around 10 feet in length.
